Dark Night of the Soul
Life is like a page in a book. A story being told and we are the characters acting within the narration. However, there may be a time when a character will start to question who is writing the story. Here we discover that life isn’t about reading the words, but the space around the words. We begin to see a world much larger and more expansive than what we are led to believe, as if the page is a playground for which the words are written. We may then start to see two major forces influencing the story. One force is encouraging us to read and to stay in line, while the other force is showing us how to write and create within the space. When reading the story, we risk being narrated by others, but by being able to see the space around the words, we can shape the lines into our own story.
So, how are you writing the story in your book?
